Where is the rivalry going to go now?
With everybody ducking out of town, the Evil Empire is fast falling apart. It was bound to happen of course, but it's kind of sad the way it crashed all at once.
Manager Joe Torre is a Dodger, half the pitching staff, Posada, Giambi, and of course Alex Rodrigue$$$$$$ are all moving on.
Where have you gone, Joe Dimagio?

Posada is staying...could it be a trend??
I wouldn't worry too much...with all the money in the coffer, the Yanks will find some new hot players...perhaps Cabrera? He seems like Yankee material...
There may be a season where the rivalry is not as intense..but I have no dooubt it will heat up again. Sox will still rival (revile??) Yanks, Yanks still rival(revile??) Sox.
In the meantime, keep your eye on Cleveland and Angels...
