If this were 1942...things would be different. If this were 1942, Barack Obama would be on trial for treason. And he'd have company. Barack Obama is inexorably linked with some awful characters, and by awful, I mean awful.

In 1970, there was a group of assholes called "The Weather Underground". In 1970 the group issued a "Declaration of a State of War" against the United States government, under the name "Weather Underground Organization" (WUO), and members adopted fake identities and pursued covert activities. They carried out a campaign consisting of bombings, jailbreaks, and riots. Their attacks were mostly bombings of government buildings, along with several banks, police department headquarters and precincts, state and federal courthouses, and state prison administrative offices, and even the Pentagon. William Ayers and his wife Bernadine Dohrn currently live in Chicago and are long-time friends of Senator Barack Obama and his wife Michelle.

One of Barack Obama’s Middle East policy advisers disclosed yesterday that he had held meetings with the militant Palestinian group Hamas – prompting the likely Democratic nominee to sever all links with him.

Robert Malley told The Times that he had been in regular contact with Hamas, which controls Gaza and is listed by the US State Department as a terrorist organisation. Such talks, he stressed, were related to his work for a conflict resolution think-tank and had no connection with his position on Mr Obama’s Middle East advisory council.

Does this guy --- this Senator Obama ---- know who Hamas is? Does he know that if this were 1942...and he were associating with Hermann Goering, that he would be placed before a tribunal, and if convicted of treason, he would be shot?

And do Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews - who sing the praises of this man nightly while ignoring the obvious facts of this man's cancerous relationships- know that if this were 1942, they would suffer the same fate?

Can someone tell me what has happened to the United States? Can someone tell me why we are VOLUNTARILY giving in to our own destruction?
